How I fit the course work into my life

By studying on journeys and in every bit of time I could snatch, and, for TMAs, shutting myself away in the attic with the clock ticking towards the deadline. What mystifies me is: what's happened to all the spare time I should have now that I'm no longer studying?

My most cherished interaction on the programme:

I'm not a great 'cherisher' but the first of many good interactions was that with Alastair Morgan, my H801 tutor, who helped get me back into studying again after many years' break.

Which of the different course models suited me best?

I probably gained the most knowledge from H801, but enoyed H802 much more, particuarly the collaborative activities.

Answers to the Vice Chancellor's questions:

In what ways am I putting into practice the ideas and understandings I developed on the programme:

All the TMAs I did related to my work and I'm still putting into practice many of the course ideas and designs I developed in them.

What did I find the most stimulating part of the programme:

The collaborative activities on H802, particularly finding out what it feels like to be an online student rather than an online tutor.

What value was the global nature of the programme to me:

Seeing contributions from people in many different situations and different cultures made me question many of my assumptions and address issues that would otherwise never have occurred to me.

Did I find it isolating or impersonal to study this programme?

Occasionally, when I got behindhand with coursework. Most of the time I felt part of a supportive and enjoyably eccentric community.

Did I find this relevant to my work:

All the course content was directly relevant to my work.

Has it changed my life in any way:

Not yet, but give it time...
